A first welcome
Set in the heart of Meursault, a village where the world's greatest wines are born from patience, Maison Le Chevreuil has reopened after a careful restoration. Here, gastronomy, wine and design meet in a single unhurried rhythm, one that Royal Botania furniture follows from the first welcome at the front of the house to the last glass of wine by the pool.
Guests are welcomed at the front of the hotel, where strappy chairs and butler tables in brown lava sit beneath Bloom parasols, a first, easy invitation to slow down.
A table without hurry
Inside, low dining sets the tone for the restaurant, paired with strappy chairs for a table built for lingering, while Zenhit lounge seating and a second butler table in brown lava extend the evening further into the room. At the bar, Zenhit high barchairs mark a brief lift in tempo, an aperitif before the evening settles low again.
Beside the water
By the pool, the pace eases once more: daybeds and loungers stretch out toward the water, and the hours pass slowly, unbothered by the clock. Each suite, in turn, opens onto its own private terrace furnished with Calypso daybeds and low lounge tables and chairs, a quiet continuation of the same mood, just for two.
Fungy lighting carries a soft, golden thread through it all, from terrace to restaurant to poolside, holding the whole evening together as it grows dark. At Maison Le Chevreuil, the terrace becomes more than a setting. It is where the rhythm of the village, the wine, and the day itself finally slows down.
